Gate-first yard management
The gate you run today with emails, logbooks and phone calls — running itself.
Drivers self-register from their phone. GateRev verifies the visit, matches the plate, coordinates the gate, docks and weighbridge, and records the complete visit in one audit trail. Deploy it in the TechRevati EU cloud or inside your own infrastructure.
Less gate administration. Shorter truck turnaround. A complete record of every visit.
- No driver app
- No per-truck fees
- Cloud or Customer-Hosted
- EU-first architecture
What changes on Monday morning
Every row below is a job someone on your site does by hand today.
| Your morning today | With GateRev |
|---|---|
| Drivers email arrival requests; staff copy data into lists | Driver self-registers (EN/SL/DE/SR/HR/PL/RO) from the phone; back-office approves in one click |
| Paper slips, logbook entries, photos in chat groups | One append-only operational audit trail — every plate, gate, dock and weighing event in one timeline |
| Guards cross-check plates by eye | ANPR with N-consecutive-read confirmation — GateRev sends an authorised OPEN request to the local barrier controller; ambiguous reads go to the guard, never silently |
| Nobody knows who is on site | Live evacuation list + one-click drill (roll-call report kept for ISO 45001) |
| Weighing anomalies — a wrong trailer, a typo or fraud — found months later | Tare-anomaly alarm (>20% vs. plate history) + dispatch-order delta check (2% tolerance) at the scale |
| "Who's late? Who missed?" | KPI: turn-time, on-time %, no-show %, dock utilisation — plus per-carrier scorecard export |
Choose where GateRev runs
The workflow stays the same. You choose the infrastructure boundary that fits your site.

One run, no paper
What GateRev is meant to remove
Gate administration
Replace arrival emails, copied spreadsheets and repeated phone calls with one controlled visit workflow.
Waiting
Prepare the visit before the truck reaches the gate and give operators one place to manage queues, docks and exceptions.
Uncertainty
Know which vehicles are expected, waiting, inside the site or already gone.
Missing evidence
Keep one timeline for approvals, plate confirmations, gate events, docks and weighing.
Before the truck reaches the gate
The cheapest minute at the gate is the one removed the day before. Carriers book, accept your rules and report delays themselves — the gate only checks what was agreed. The carrier portal is free for carriers.
Invited, verified, approved by you
You send a sign-up link. The dispatcher confirms a work email, the company ID is checked for format and check digit (RS, HR, SI, ME, MK, PL, RO), and your admin decides who gets in.
Your rules, accepted before the first booking
The carrier sees your booking rules and accepts that version before booking — in the portal and for a TMS API key alike. A booking without accepted rules is refused.
Arrival time and delays from the source
A TMS sends and updates the expected arrival time through the API; the driver can report a delay, or that the truck will not come, with a reason. No location tracking.
No-shows: a warning first, then fewer privileges
The no-show rate per carrier is measured over 7 days from your own data. First a warning; if it continues, auto-approval is switched off and the booking cap halved. No fines, no public list, no rating shared with other customers.
A dispute before the consequence
The carrier sees every counted no-show and can dispute it within 3 working days; while a timely dispute is open, the stricter step does not apply.
Made for a phone in a parked truck
No countdowns, buttons of at least 48 px, and the pass tells the driver not to use it while driving. GateRev never needs the driver's continuous location.
Carrier ratings stay yours: they are never shared with other customers.
No driver app
Drivers use the browser on their phone. No app installation, no carrier software licence and no separate driver account are required for the standard driver flow.
The gate speaks the driver's language.
- Slovene
- English
- German
- Serbian
- Croatian
- Polish
- Romanian
Staff consoles use the first five of these languages.
An audit trail you can hand to an auditor
GateRev records approvals, plate confirmations, gate events, dock activity and weighing events in one append-only operational audit trail. When an auditor, a customer or an incident review asks what happened at 06:42, the answer is a record, not a recollection.
Append-only, enforced by the database
The database prevents normal application workflows from silently editing or deleting recorded audit events — the refusal is in the database itself, not merely hidden in the interface.
Controlled retention
Retention is enforced by the application, not left as a manual policy. Certain operational audit records are currently kept for 24 months — the product's current setting, not a legal requirement. When a month is removed, a sealed entry records what was removed and when.
One visit, one timeline
Every visit has its full trace: who registered it, who approved it, when the barrier rose, which dock, what the scale read.
Every month of the trail is sealed into a hash chain, so any later change to the record is detectable.
One visit, end to end
The same arrival, from the driver's phone to the audit trail. Every step below replaces something someone does by hand today.
Before arrival
The driver pre-registers from a phone in one of seven languages. No email to anyone, no data retyped into a list.
Approval
Back-office approves in one click. Where a site needs several approvers, the chain runs in order — the first signature does not open the gate.
At the gate
ANPR reads the plate and GateRev confirms it across consecutive reads. Site-access rules, visit authorisation and tenant checks run before GateRev sends an authorised OPEN request to the local barrier control system. Ambiguous plate reads are sent to the guard for confirmation rather than accepted silently; the guard's console pairs a camera barcode scanner with an on-screen keyboard. GateRev does not perform the barrier's machinery-safety functions: photocells, safety loops, obstacle detection, closing logic and emergency functions remain with the local barrier/control installation.
On site
The driver gets a dock and a route to it. Trailers are tracked as objects — a drop-off is proven on exit and matched to the pick-up. A truck that leaves for a break re-enters the same visit with one click.
At the scale
Weighing is compared against the plate's own history and against the dispatch order. For orders with a pickup code, loading requires the code and the four-way match — order, carrier, plate, driver identity — or the truck is blocked at the scale.
Afterwards
Every plate, gate, dock and weighing event lands in one append-only operational audit trail. Privacy is built in: a checked document stores a keyed fingerprint, never the number, and every subject gets export and erasure tools.
Built for the EU from day one
Drivers register in their own language
SL/EN/DE/SR/HR across the driver portal, kiosk and notifications, Slovene dual included. Nobody retypes a driver's details at the barrier — and it is not a machine-translated afterthought. Drivers can also choose Polish or Romanian.
GDPR-conscious architecture
Designed around data minimisation, controlled retention, role-based access and traceable administrative actions — a new table does not ship without a retention rule, and a test in CI enforces it. Customer-hosted deployments can keep operational data inside customer-controlled infrastructure. The final GDPR roles, retention periods and lawful basis depend on how the customer uses the system and belong in the deployment and contract documentation.
No biometric identification in the current product
GateRev does not currently ship facial recognition or biometric identification for gate access. Any future biometric functionality would require a separate product, privacy and regulatory review before release.
Prepared for NIS2, CRA and GDPR
GateRev keeps an append-only record of gate, dock, weighing and approval events that supports incident review, internal controls and your NIS2 security and audit processes. Vulnerability handling follows the Cyber Resilience Act process — a published disclosure policy and statutory reporting — and GDPR roles, retention and data location are built into every deployment. GateRev prepares the evidence; certification stays with you and your auditor.
eFTI integration path
GateRev's architecture leaves room for future integration with relevant eFTI workflows. This is an integration direction, not a certification claim.

Built for industrial sites with real gate traffic
Manufacturing plants
Coordinate carriers, gate entry, docks, weighing and traceability in one visit workflow.
Distribution centres
Reduce manual coordination across arrivals, queues, docks and departures.
Industrial and logistics yards
Know which truck is expected, where it should go and what happened during the visit.
Sites with weighbridges
Connect gate and visit data with weighing events and exception checks.
GateRev may be a good fit if:
- trucks are still announced by email or phone;
- guards manually cross-check plates and visit lists;
- dock assignments are coordinated outside one system;
- your team repeatedly asks which vehicles are currently on site;
- you operate a weighbridge;
- logistics, security and EHS teams need the same visit record;
- Internet dependency at the gate is unacceptable and you need a Customer-Hosted option.
Keep your TMS. Replace the gate spreadsheet.
GateRev focuses on the operational layer between an expected truck and its completed visit at the site. Existing TMS/ERP systems can remain the system of record for transport or business processes.
Numbers, with the conditions attached
Measured, dated and published with their conditions: an automated test suite, a production build smoke-tested before every deploy, a timed restore drill — and how GateRev behaves when something fails.
- 3798 tests
- Every guard proven by a mutation
- Restore drill: 1.61 s
Designed for failure, per deployment. In GateRev Cloud, automatic authorisation runs over the connection between the site and the cloud; if that path goes down, the site switches to its manual gate procedure — the FAQ says the same. GateRev Onsite runs the application inside the customer's infrastructure, so an Internet outage alone does not stop it as long as the local server, network, ANPR integration and barrier controller are available — which does not mean every external integration stays available. In every deployment the barrier's local safety functions are independent of GateRev. GateRev Cloud decides centrally, with no edge agent to install or maintain at the gate; GateRev Onsite is the full GateRev application on your own servers. ANPR in GateRev is a consumer of your camera system: it reads plate events pushed by the customer's supported cameras and confirms them over N consecutive reads. The camera stays your system — it is not part of what we deliver — and every integration is commissioned on your device, at your gate distance and lighting.
Pricing
Per location, on an annual contract — GateRev Cloud is billed monthly; Customer-Hosted terms are set in the quote. No charge per driver, per booking or per truck — the price does not rise when your traffic does.
Included for every location
- All modules — gate, docks, weighbridge, EHS, evacuation, evidence chain
- Unlimited drivers, carriers and bookings
- 7 languages for drivers, 5 for staff
- Cloud in the EU or Customer-Hosted in your infrastructure
GateRev Cloud
Annual subscription per site. Includes managed hosting, application operations and standard updates.
GateRev Private Cloud and Onsite (Customer-Hosted)
The commercial model includes the GateRev software licence/subscription plus support and maintenance. Implementation, infrastructure preparation and integrations are quoted separately.
Implementation is agreed separately: setting up your site, connecting the equipment at your gate, acceptance with real trucks and on-site training for every shift.
Implementation scope depends on:
- number of sites
- gate lanes
- docks
- weighbridge
- camera/controller integrations
- operating model
- Cloud vs Customer-Hosted deployment
We send a quote after a short call about your gate — number of gates and docks, weighbridge, cameras and traffic. Several sites are quoted together.
What an export looks like
A visit export with invented data, produced by the same code as the export in the product: one row per visit, with slot, arrival, departure and the seal checked at the gate.
