Accessibility statement
GateRev aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on this site and in the application. Status: partially conformant — what we measure, and what we do not measure yet, is listed below.
Scope
This statement covers gaterev.com and the GateRev application: the console, the driver and visitor pages, the kiosk and the yard board.
How it is measured
Automatically, on every change before release: an accessibility scanner (axe) runs on the console screens and the public pages in both the light and the dark theme, and critical or serious findings block the release; text contrast is measured separately, including the cases the scanner leaves undecided; on the pages drivers open on a phone, buttons are at least 40 px and nothing scrolls sideways at 390 px width; gate check-in can be done entirely with the keyboard.
Known limitations
Automated tests find only part of the barriers. The application has not yet been tested by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology, and no independent audit has been done. Findings of moderate or minor severity do not block a release. The TV board is not part of the automatic scan. Moving pictures on this site are hidden for visitors who asked their system for reduced motion; this is set in the style sheet and not yet covered by an automatic test. Only buttons are measured for touch size, not links or form fields.
